All Customers are provided with a customer control panel. The Control Panel log in details are provided in the your welcome pack.  The website address of the control panel is https://servicecentre.iomart.com

On the left hand side you need to insert your username and password ( these are both 8 digits long).

In the control panel you can do pretty much anything you need.

Download the software,
View your stats,
Edit the listing description,
Print your bills,
Manage your emails.

Some customers who are using Vista are currently having issues when trying to use the CustomerStreet software. If you download a patch from here it should allow you to use the software properly.

We would recommend downloading the patch and then reinstalling the Customer Street sites software again

If it fairly simple to fix the “invalid site selection” error message. This message is caused by a failed download during the login process.

To correct it open your local site folder on your c drive (located at c:rapidsite/sites). Delete the folder which contains your website. Now try the login again and if you still see the error message appear then call the CustomerStreet/ UFindUs support team who will give you further guidance to resolve this problem.

Its great when you complete the changes to your CustomerStreet or UFindUs rapidsite for the first time. But you need to be aware that changes to the site can make a difference to how the search engines will use the information and ultimately how it will be ranked.

When making changes remember to use the Analyze button. Basically what you are dong is checking to make sure that your site will stand the best chances of being found.

Follow the instructions on the page and remember you are looking to produce a script of a minimum of 180 words to go on your Customer Street site. The analysis tool is .looking for a minimum of 225 words but it will also count your short description in the title within that number.

You should mention key phrases at least twice within the script, more if possible but not to the point where the script becomes unreadable. Be sure to check for spelling, grammatical errors, sentences which make no sense and Americanised spelling of words.

If you are getting an “authentication error” message when you log into your Customer Street or UFindUs rapidsite software then the most likely cause is that you are using incorrect log in details.

If you are sure that the login details are those advised in your CustomerStreet Welcome Pack then check that you don’t have a firewall or antivirus software which is interferingtih it.

To resolve the problem either use the correct login or disable your antivirus/firewall and then hit the “resync” button which appears in the bottom left part of the Rapidsite log in screen. This will reset the login process.
